LOS ANGELES, California — Nicklaus Sullivan made his MLS debut on September 13th, coming on as a substitute in the 81st minute of the LA Galaxy's 2-2 draw against Seattle Sounders FC at Lumen Field.
The 23-year-old forward, signed to a short-term agreement from MLS NEXT Pro affiliate Ventura County FC, came on for John Nelson and got a shot off during his nine minutes on the pitch. The Galaxy equalized through Miki Yamane in the 87th minute to earn a point on the road.
Selected by the Galaxy in the third round of the 2025 MLS SuperDraft, Sullivan had been one of Ventura County's standout performers in 2025, recording six goals and six assists in 14 league appearances ahead of his first team opportunity. Prior to starting his professional career, Nicklaus was a member of the California State University San Bernardino men's soccer team from 2022-2024.
