LONDON, England — London City Lionesses have signed Spanish international Lucía Corrales from FC Barcelona on a contract through summer 2029.
The 19-year-old is a versatile left-sided player, capable of operating at left-back and across the entire left flank. Corrales arrives following a loan spell with Sevilla FC in the 2024/25 season, where she made 28 league appearances and contributed three assists.
One of the first female graduates of Barcelona's La Masia academy, Corrales broke into the first team during the 2022–23 season, making appearances in both the domestic league and the UEFA Women's Champions League. On the international stage, she helped Spain win the 2022 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup, finish runners-up at the 2022 UEFA Women's U-17 Championship, and played a key role in their 2023 UEFA Women's U-19 Championship victory. She made her senior Spain debut against Belgium in March 2025.
