PORTLAND, Oregon —  Adolfo Enriquez made his MLS debut for the Portland Timbers on July 8, entering in the 85th minute of Portland’s 4-1 victory over Nashville SC at Providence Park. The 18-year-old became the second Timbers Academy player to make his first team debut this season.

"I've dreamed for this moment my whole life, basically, since I'm from here." Those were the words uttered to the Portland Timbers locker room after being dragged out in front of the group by head coach Phil Neville to ensure his MLS debut was properly saluted.

A native of Portland and a product of the Timbers Academy, Enriquez made his professional debut for Timbers2 on September 3, 2022, and signed his first professional contract ahead of the 2024 season. In 37 MLS NEXT Pro appearances across his development career, he contributed a goal and an assist before earning his moment on the MLS stage.
